Meeting Women Online - A Step-by-Step Dating Guide

If you want to succeed with Online Dating in the best way possible and get the maximal results (and therefore have the greatest selection of potential partners to choose from) then you may want to join a few of the popular online dating services too. But no matter which dating services you choose, you will absolutely want to design a well thought-out Online Dating Profile which will be not only impressive, but also present you in the best light possible. The better your Dating Profile is, the more choices you'll have with potential dating partners - in other words, the guys with the best profiles will have the most beautiful women to choose from - and the same goes for women in selecting interesting men.

This article will be the first of a series about Online Dating Strategies. Today I'd like to share some of my tips and secrets about writing Online Personal Ads.

So shall we begin?

The first step in attracting beautiful women online (or handsome, interesting men) is to write some compelling, well written Online Dating Ads. All of your ads should be written in a magnetic way - in other words, if your ads are written properly (and I'll tell you how below) they will attract exactly the kind of women or men you're dreaming about! To succeed as "effective advertising," your online dating ads should:

1. "Target" your audience right in the headline;

2. State in very clear terms what the "Benefits" are to the reader for responding to your ad;

3. Specify what your best "Features" are as a person; and

4. This might be obvious, but you should ALSO ask your reader to reply to your ad!

Now let's analyze each part of the winning formula! Targeting your ideal audience: The first part of the formula for a winning ad should "qualify" the reader and act as a "filter" so your best prospects write back to you - while those who are not right for you simply pass you by!

Here's an example:

"If you're a hopeless romantic like me, and you're so fond of Romantic Comedies that you find yourself crying over the movie "When Harry Met Sally" even after the 20th time you've seen it, then we should definitely talk soon, because there's a ton of old movies we could be enjoying together!"

With regard to "reader benefits," you're wanting those who read your ads to see how by responding to your ad they'll be gaining something important. In other words, "What's in it for me?"

For example:

"Not only am I fond of housekeeping and will volunteer to do all of our house-cleaning chores, but I make delicious French Toast and will gladly cook for you on the weekends!"

The difference between "features" and "benefits" (number two and number three on the list above) is important! You'll want your potential lovers to understand your features of course (for example, your height, the color of your eyes, your age, occupation, where you live and so on) while the "benefits" to knowing you would include other less tangible qualities like the example I offered above, and others like "your warmth, your compassion, and your great listening skills." At the end of every effectively written ad, you'll generally read instructions (or see a request) about what to do next! In other words, since you're wanting a reply to your ad, go right ahead and ask for one - and don't be shy about it either!

For example:

"If you'd like to improve your life - starting today - by having a terrific guy by your side, please go ahead and send me a short reply. Otherwise, I'll never know that you exist (and the same could be said for me) and indeed, that would be a great loss for our potential grandchildren!"

If you follow the guidelines I've just outlined for you, your experience with Online Dating Ads will be a positive one!
